Come learn from Greg Schwanbeck, a high school Physics teacher, and Ben Courchesne, a high school English teacher, about what technologies they are currently using in their classrooms (hint: many), how they evaluate new technology before incorporating it into their curriculum, and what tools they would love to see developed to make their lives as a teacher easier.
Technologies Greg has leveraged to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning in his classroom include videos, collaborative lab work facilitated by cloud computing, and virtual labs. Technologies Ben has incorporated into his classroom include Moodle, Haiku, and YouTube videos, among others.
This 1.5 hour class will be highly interactive and limited to 20 students to ensure that you have ample time to both interact with the instructors and your peers.
