Expand your network & give back at our speed-volunteer stations:

Jumpstart: Every child deserves the chance to succeed. Help children from low-income neighborhoods  develop language & literacy skills they need in school. Attendees will put together educational materials that Jumpstart AmeriCorps members will use to teach literacy curriculums to urban youth.

  • Friends of Boston Homeless: Help create welcome packages for individuals transitioning from homelessness to their first ever apartments. Packages will include helpful household items & personalized notes written by event attendees.
  • Community Water Solutions: Work on projects to benefit volunteers serving in Ghana, helping local villages get access to clean water & empowering local female entrepreneurs.
  • If I Were President:  Help this innovative nonprofit by discussing thoughtful civic questions about the kind of government you'd like to see. They will be building an online blog to express public opinions on main issues we are faced with today.
