Honing Your Voice: Effective Public Speaking for Entrepreneurs

Instructor: Dave Rini

From presenting at a board meeting, to demonstrating a product to potential investors, or giving an elevator pitch for your business at a networking event, good public speaking skills are "must-haves" for any entrepreneur.

This class focuses on the basics of effective public speaking: eye contact, breath control, preparation, body language, word choice, and volume. Whether speaking to a group of 1000+ or to an audience of one, this class will use small group exercises and large group discussion to allow participants an opportunity to improve their speaking skills in a low-pressure, supportive environment.

You'll learn:

  • How to effectively communicate a message with audiences of any size and composition.
  • How to develop your own public speaking style and emphasize your most prominent public speaking strengths.
  • Timeless tips for reducing public speaking anxiety and preparing for a speech on short notice.
