Management, a panel discussion bringing together some of the best
product managers in the city to discuss emerging trends, new ideas, and
the state of product management in Boston.

Ravi Mehta, TripAdvisor
Ravi is currently Senior Director of Consumer Product at TripAdvisor,
where he leads vision, development, and execution of consumer facing
features and content on the nearly 30 global points of sale for
TripAdvisor's web business. Previously, Ravi was VP of Product at Viximo
where he drove product strategy from inception to the company's
acquisition by Tapjoy. Earlier in his career, Ravi held product
positions at Microsoft where he led the MSN Gaming Zone's retail game
business, defined strategy for Xbox Live as an early member of the Xbox
team, led several MMO initiatives, and served as Producer for Mass
Effect. Ravi has an MBA from MIT Sloan and a BS in Computer Engineering
from Boston University.
Sam Clemens, InsightSquared
Sam
is the founder and head of product at InsightSquared; previously, he
was VP Product at HubSpot, VP Product at BzzAgent, and on the initial
team at Elance.com. His background also includes venture capital with
Greylock Partners, the Algorithms group at Amazon.com, and management
consulting with Booz Allen Hamilton. Sam has an MBA from Harvard
Business School and a BS in Applied Math from Yale. In his off time he
dives shipwrecks in the New England area.
Shereen Shermak, BuysideFX
Shereen
is a Co-Founder & VP of Product Management at BuysideFX in Boston, a
financial services startup focused on the FX industry. Previously,
Shereen led product management at a variety of companies including
Currensee & Firm58. She is also an angel investor in TechStars and a
variety of companies. Shereen holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of
Management and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Duke
University.
Mike Putnam, Rue La La
Mike
is the Vice President and GM of Mobile at Rue La La in Boston;
previously, he headed up product at Jana in Boston and was the Director
of Mobile Product at TripAdvisor. Mike has a MBA from the Tuck School of
Business at Dartmouth, a Masters degree from the Harvard Kennedy
School, and a BS from Stanford.
Rob Go, NextView Ventures
Rob Go is a Co-Founder and Partner at NextView Ventures, a seed stage
investment firm focused on internet enabled innovation. He was
previously a VC at Spark Capital and held product management roles at
eBay and BzzAgent. Rob has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS
in Economics from Duke University.
