Robert A. Gough, Jr., Ph.D. economist, educator, on-air personality and President and CEO of G-enovation, Lexington, MA says the biggest opportunities for near-term growth reside largely in high tech. The fiscal crisis of 2008 and the explosion in sophistication of information technology mean that public sector options for economic growth are minimal and that prospects now hinge exclusively on private sector initiatives. Gough will explain how innovation in IT, biosciences and cleantech is the only certain, rational, and potentially quick answer to new growth…for companies as well as economies at the North Shore Technology Council January breakfast event. Register for this event at www.nstc.org. The registration fee is $25 for NSTC members and $50 for non-members.  E-mail events@nstc.org for more information. Sponsored by Good Leads.
