Agenda
Richard Mallah, Cambridge Semantics: Leveraging Semantics for Text Mining and Text Analytics
Semantic web technologies provide the operational meaning and
flexibility to both aid the process of text analytics and unlock the
potential of that analysis. Linked Data, OWL, and semantic relationships
can significantly help inform the natural language processing
algorithms, and can also be leveraged to link annotations or extractions
from multiple different NLP engines in meaningful ways. Semantic links
to structured and semistructured
data also allow these higher-level unstructured extractions to then be
used operationally and in context. Join us as we show how Cambridge
Semantics' Anzo Unstructured unlocks this potential.
Stéphane Corlosquet, MIND Informatics, MGH: WebID module for Drupal
WebID is an open standard for identity and password-less login on the Web. WebID is designed to help alleviate the difficulty that remembering different logins, passwords and settings for websites has created. It is also designed to provide a universal and extensible mechanism to express public and private information about identity online.
