The March 2010 meetup will go over how to check that your masters and slave have the same data using a process called "continual replication sync". Sheeri K. Cabral of The Pythian Group outlines how to use Maatkit's mk-table-checksum to check a part of your data, how to choose how much of your data to check at one time, and how to check the results to see what is out of sync. We will also go over cases where mk-table-checksum fails to find differences, and cases where mk-table-checksum cannot split your data properly, and how to work around these issues. ------------- Logistics ------------- MIT's map with the building (E51) highlighted: http://whereis.mit.ed...
