Digital technologies are driving innovation across all fields and markets, from the sciences to the arts - across all careers, from medical to mechanics. The “computer science for all” movement is helping to equip students with the computational skills that will prepare them for the 21st-century labor market. New standards for computer science and technical literacy have been introduced, new coding products and services abound, and educators are looking for ways to incorporate this learning. There is a debate about what needs to be learned, what is appropriate at each age level, how to help teachers get comfortable with these new skills, and how to provide broader access.

In this session, participants will:

  • Dissect the successful approaches educators are using to connect students with this movement
  • Examine some of the most recent coding research findings
  • Identify educators how they have moved to embrace more coding in their schools, both at the high school level and earlier
  • Explore what coding curriculums and products have proven effective for different ages groups and in different settings
  • Outline how entrepreneurs and learning providers are working to expand access to coding
  •

60 day posting for only $99
