Quiz... name a successful entrepreneur in Boston who helped define the iPhone business model back in 2005???
Give up? Well, if you read the title of this blog post, you probably know who I am talking about.
I had the opportunity to visit Dogpatch Labs in Cambridge recently and met up with Raj Aggarwal, the Founder & CEO of Localytics.
Localytics is an application analytics plaform for mobile app publishers with a focus on enterprise-level mobile app analytics. Their customers include many leading brands and publishers such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Daily, hulu, Dow Jones, etc.
They were part of the first class of TechStars companies in Boston and closed a $2.5M series A round of funding last April from Launchpad Venture Group, New York Angels, and Hub Angels.
Lots of interesting info from this discussion.... including: the founding of Localytics, market trends & analytics, Raj's background (including his involvement with the iPhone), and his experience as part of the TechStars program.
