If You Could Meet with Any CEO for Lunch in Boston… Who Would It Be?

Wednesday May 21, 2014 by Josh Boyle - Director of Community & Marketing, VentureFizz

One of Boston’s most influential angel investors set out, in 2010, to celebrate everything related to launching and nurturing companies in the Boston area. And now, he’s looking to you, the Boston startup community to drive his latest campaign.

Joe Caruso has been guiding and investing in entrepreneurs for 20 years so he knows a thing or two about what it takes to succeed – not the least of which is mentoring. Caruso initially launched BREW (Boston Region Entrepreneurship World) four years ago as a week-long series of events for people to engage with the entrepreneurial community.

In conjunction with BREW, Caruso recently launched the “Lunch Series” and this is where you all come in. The lunch series provides entrepreneurs the opportunity to sit down with some of the most successful, interesting and influential CEO’s in the Boston area.

Joe and the BREW team’s goal is to let “YOU” decide who should participate as part of this series!  Ultimately, they are looking to create a list of 100 CEOs.

How do you do your part?

All you need to do is get on to BREW’s Lunch Series CEO Nomination page and recommend a CEO.

Think of where you are in your business or the business you’re looking to launch. Is there a CEO out there that you’ve admired or followed for any specific reason? Someone who may have the answer to the problem you can’t solve. Someone who can offer up advice on how to take that next step or hit that milestone. This is your chance to sit down with him or her and ask those questions!

Since we’re aiming high, we’ll need your help promoting this campaign. The more frequent and diverse the nominations the better. Urge your fellow entrepreneurs to make their requests through BREW.  The goal is to fill the nomination pool before the end of June. In July, Caruso and BREW will then recruit the most sought after and compelling requested CEO’s. At this point entrepreneurs will be able to formally request their luncheon (we’ll inform everyone when that stage is upon us).

Click Here to Tweet & support this campaign! Let’s prove the power of Boston’s startup community and crush the 100 CEO goal!
