We have a two great events planned in December that you shouldn't miss! And, they are back to back nights... sounds dreamy, right? But it's true!
First Night - Monday, Dec 9th @ 5pm: Alexis Ohanian Book Tour!
Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of reddit and he also helped launch hipmunk, is coming to Boston for his national book tour called Without Their Permission: How the 21st Century Will Be Made, Not Managed.
We have partnered up with General Assembly to host an event where you will hear Alexis share his personal experiences, insider tips, excerpts from the book and how he learned to harness the power of the web for good.
The first 50 guests will receive a signed copy of the book! Event proceeds will be donated to a relevant charity that supports a similar mission and purpose (power of the web for good). Click here to register.
Second Night - Tuesday, Dec 10th @ 6pm: Building a Successful SaaS Business / VentureFizz Holiday Gathering
Each quarter this year, we have put together some incredible panels with amazing content. We've got another awesome event lined up which will focus on building a successful SaaS based business.
We are bringing together three founder / CEOs of some of Boston's hottest SaaS companies and one of the top investors in the area to moderate. Check out the line up below. No doubt - this will be a lively discussion! They will talk through lots of different topics like: building product, figuring out market fit, scaling operations, customer acquisition, pricing, building the team, challenges, lessons learned, etc.
Added bonus! There will also be plenty of time to network and have some drinks (great mix of craft beers & wine), so we can celebrate the holiday season. You deserve it - you've worked hard this year!
Anyone who is involved in our industry… founder, investor, product manager, marketer, software engineer, sales, client services, HR, operations… this event is for you!
A special "thank you" to Dissero, who is a sponsor and Communispace, who is also sponsoring and hosting this event for us at their cool space in the Innovation District / Fort Point Channel area. They are hiring, so check out their BizzPage!
